COMEDY & CURRY NIGHTS.

One night whilst Gary was out doing what he does best he came across a cricket club having a curry night as opposed to the normal roast beef and Yorkshire pudding meal.

Gary took note of a comment from a Lady in the audience who said to her partner – “it’s great to be invited here in the winter, you only ever want us women here in the summer to make the sandwiches and the tea”.

While feeling sorry for the male involved, Gary agrees the Lady is quite right. Many clubs cater mainly for sporting evenings that are all, or, predominately male orientated.

The wives and girlfriends of every club in the country form a huge customer base that is more often than not forgotten.

Because of Gary over hearing this lady’s comments brought the birth of the COMEDY & CURRY NIGHTS.

Oliver (Comedian)

from sky tv stand & deliver and best of todays comedians..now in his 33rd year as a professional entertainer,oliver has been voted comedian of the year on several occassions and regulary tops the bill at the stardust club in benidorm as well as travelling to other countrys such as the canarys,germany,turkey & ibiza. oliver in the mid 80's had a number 1 hit in the german hit parade with the old tom jones classic''the green green grass of home''
followed by 2 more chart entries penned by himself and ex-drifters bobby jerome,after the music came his first love COMEDY oliver always a front man in comedy showbands decieded to fullfill his ambition to be a stand up comic and was an instant hit on the club and cabaret circuit this leading to numourous awards as comic of the year and tv shows on sky and tyne tees television.

 

Mick Monroe (Comedian)

International Comedian really says it all; Mick, a native of Middlesborough, began his career as a professional drummer, working with top entertainers and comedians before turning to comedy in 1991. Since becoming a full time comedian; Mick has entertained all nationalities across the globe, working in hotels, desert oil camp installations and on cruise ships, for top UK holiday companies. On the national scene Mick has entertained in club cabaret, holiday parks, television warm-ups and for local radio. On a live transmission broadcast to British military bases around the globe Mick was heard not only in the UK but in Belize, Germany, Cyprus and Hong Kong.

 

Lesley Gibson (Comedian)

Impressionist and comedian. Leslie has taken the after dinner circuit by storm. A young comic from Liverpool, Leslie started out around 10 years ago as a impressionist. Years later, the act has developed into comedy and impressions, with his uncanny knack for portraying today soap stars a particular favourite.
