In April 2003 Gary was invited by the Professional Footballers Association, Chief Executive, Gordon Taylor to appear at the Grove our House Hotel in London and perform to £300 Million pounds worth of footballer’s and the wives and girlfriends to match at the prestigious PFA Awards Dinner.
The PFA awards dinner is usually a comedian’s graveyard. Gary Skyner didn’t just avoid the shovels and the grave diggers that night he was the pride of the top table along side distinguished names as Sir Booby Robson, Sir Geoff Hurst, Tony Adams, and Dave (Harry) Bassett.
